The public institution is managed by Bruno Julliard, the Principal Deputy to the Mayor of Paris, in charge of Culture, Heritage, the Arts, Relationships with the Arrondissements and Museum Night, with Christophe Girard, Mayor of the 4th arrondissement of Paris as Vice-President. They replace Anne Hidalgo and Danièle Pourtaud respectively. The head office is based at 27 Rue des Petites Ecuries in the 10th Arrondissement. This reform decided by the Mayor of Paris, Bertrand Delanoë, is an ambitious project for the museums. It reinforces the strategic steering of the network, optimises its management and is accompanied by a significant financial effort by the City to continue with the renovation of buildings and improve the functioning of the museums.
